RHS Norwich BID
Campaign 2017 -
Friends of Norwich in Bloom and Norwich Norse Supporting In 2016 Norwich BID assisted by Friends of Norwich in Bloom and Norwich Norse achieved a Gold standard and category win at regional Anglia in Bloom, in October 2016 Anglia in Bloom put forward Norwich BID as a national RHS Britain in Bloom Finalist 2017.
The Norwich BID Team started meeting monthly and regularly communicating by email to plan the 2017 Tour.
In October over 100 Amberol Barrier Baskets were changed from Summer to Autumn/Winter/Spring displays, many are sponsored.
During October/November 10,000 Peony Flowered Tulips and Rotary PURPLE4POLIO CROCUS were planted mainly in the heart of Norwich but also across the city.
During October-April around 5,000 perennial plants and autumn bedding plants grown by City College Norwich students were collected and planted by Norwich Norse and volunteers and planted in the heart of Norwich and surrounding areas.
